I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! I just knew that Annabel would fall for Owen! Owen actually seems like the perfect guy for her! I have continued reading Just Listen, and though I am not finished yet, I have read some interesting parts that show that these two characters, Annabel and Owen, are beginning to develop a real relationship. In a few occasions, Owen and Annabel are very close to kissing, but they somehow get interrupted. Then, I read this part where they went into a car wash together, and they finally actually kissed! I was so happy! I think that they make an really cute couple!
Annabel's relationship is going very well, but what about her family? Whitney is still in therapy for her eating disorder, but she is gradually getting better. Annabel is still worried about Whitney, and I don't blame her at all! If my sister was in a similar situation, of course I would be worried, too! One of Whitney's therapists is having her do an assignment, where she had to write something about her life, and another one about her eating disorder. Whitney thinks it's a stupid project, but I personally think it is a pretty good idea because Whitney's life and her eating disorder are two totally different things. Annabel wants Whitney to get entirely better, but I'm not sure if that will happen. Eating will probably not be a normal habit for her anymore, it will be something she is forced to do. I feel bad for Annabel, Whitney, Kirsten and their parents, because dealing with something that serious must be very hard. I am looking forward to finish this book, and when I do, I really hope that someone else starts reading it right away because it is such an enjoyable book!
